My room was comfortably furnished and luxurious with very comfortable beds, had smoke detectors for safety measures. The hotel was in an absolutely perfect location next to Bendigo, a restaurant in the area which would cater for a gluten-free diet and pubs for meals. It also was in the centre.

Appreciated the great value budget double room with a spa bath and the way it was setup. All the employees were genuinely helpful and smiled at me...

Comfortable beds in the rooms. All in all, attractive and competitive value for money. The hotel was set just walking distance from Cooinda Park. The venue was really close to Bendigo train station:)))

Best available at a reasonable price on a weekend when many hotels were booked out or overpriced
This hotel is showing it's age and is due for a refurbish.

2 bedroom apartment suited our needs for 2 adults and 3 kids. Electric blankets on beds was good. Decent size flat screen TV and DVD player was good.
The apartment was a bit shabby. The couch was rather saggy.

The location of Homestead Motor Inn & Apartments are conviently located on the main road leading into Bendigo. The staff were friendly and helpful and were quick to answer queries and process payments. The room was Clean and neatly set out, their facilities were excellent with an offset kitchen, full bathroom (shower, no bath) and a decent sized TV with excellent reception and Stereo.
The only slightly negative (this applies to hotels in general) is the check-out time. But, more of a personal preference.

friendly / helpful staff, comfy bed, modern bathroom fittings, cosy and roomy, compact kitchenette was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. excellent tv reception, modern and austar, very good dvd / cd / radio set up.
no bench in bathroom, glass shower screen not wide enough to keep water off floor and bathroom exhaust fan is on timer, not nearly long enough. curtains not quite wide enough to give full privacy. every time hot water used the pipes made a tapping sound in ceiling till pipes cooled down, even when used in next room, very irritating.

We have stayed there once before and this was the main reason for choosing this motel, as it was located in a reasonable position to the venue where we attended a conference. The motel was comfortable.
Twice a bottle of orange juice (as part of the mini-bar) fell out of the fridge and broke all over the floor. On the first occasion I cleaned it up. Another bottle was placed in the door of the fridge when the room was cleaned and the same mess resulted on the 2nd day.

Smelled good. nice beds to sleep in
Carpark. we were in 13 and by the time we arrived home there was a 4 wheel drive who decided to park over the two spots. Maybe they could paint suggested lines on the ground for each room.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
